The Barese Ice Men of New York

A documentary tracing the lives of South Italian immigrants to travelled from Bari to New York City, and soon found themselves  delivering ice to numerous homes in New York City and beyond.  This is the story of their daily lives and their crucial role in the ice industry that bloomed before the invention of refrigeration.
